Varun Shah and Gabe Skamla Join evolveEA

The evolveEA Design and Planning Studio welcomed two new designers during the final quarter of 2023 to deepen our capacity for architectural and urban design projects. 

Varun Shah has joined the evolveEA team to work on mobility planning, comprehensive plans, housing, and urban design. He previously worked in Oakland, California, and Mumbai, India in various roles involving design, policy research, and environmental justice. He graduated with a Master in Urban Design from the University of California, Berkeley, and has studied in India and Switzerland. 

Gabe Skamla has joined the evolveEA team as a designer and will contribute to architecture and design for infrastructure buildings, nonprofit headquarters, and community centers. Gabe has worked on a variety of residential and commercial projects and has practiced throughout Upstate New York, Pennsylvania, and Colorado. Gabe holds a B.A. in Architectural Studies from the University of Pittsburgh and has earned a Certificate in Building Science & Net Zero Design from Yestermorrow Design/Build School in Vermont.
