New Year, New (Existing) Building REcertifications

Three buildings in Pittsburgh earned performance recertifications with help from evolveEA: 411 Seventh Ave (Energy Star), US Steel Tower (WELL HSR), and Desmone Architects (WELL Gold).

Millvale Food Hub

The Millvale Food Hub is a mixed-use building located on the main street of Millvale’s Town Center. The project called for the renovation of an historic building that had been left vacant for over a decade. Our community visioning process helped establish the goal of attracting a food-based business as a primary tenant, since Millvale had previously been dubbed a food desert.

Eastside Redevelopment

Completed in 2006, evolveEA managed the LEED for Core and Shell (CS) certification process for the Eastside II Retail Project. evolveEA later continued with sustainable strategy and certification management for Eastside III which was the first completed LEED ND Gold project in Pennsylvania. Eastside III also achieved LEED for Homes Gold certification for its three mixed-use residential buildings
