As a Landscape Architect and Planner at evolveEA, Joanne Shelly combines her expertise in environmentally sensitive site design and construction with her understanding of the community development process to engage with stakeholders and deliver projects guided by the principles of the triple bottom line. Joanne has over 25 years of experience working with communities on concepts and solutions that celebrate their places, respond to climatic conditions, and improve economic opportunities. She has led a diverse array of project types, including a mobility study that resulted in positive impacts like the creation of a first/last mile shuttle for underserved populations; a bike share program, improvements to the trail system and adoption of complete streets policies.
Joanne regularly serves as a presenter at regional and national conferences and as a technical advisor on special projects, programs, and planning initiatives. She is a trained facilitator and a registered Landscape Architect, Certified Planner (AICP), and LEED Accredited Professional (BD+C).
