Anisha Panesar
Anisha Panesar brings a globally informed perspective and a passion for sustainable design to her role as a Summer Intern at evolveEA. Born in Chennai, India, Anisha began her architectural journey at Measi Academy of Architecture, where early exposure to hands-on workshops and construction practices sparked her interest in project execution and management. She carried this foundation into professional practice with Faisal Manzur Studio, a boutique firm where her work was featured in Elle Magazine and Architectural Digest.
A formative experience working with a clay kiln deepened Anisha’s interest in sustainability, ultimately shaping her academic and professional direction. This led her to pursue advanced studies in technology and design in the United States, bringing her to Carnegie Mellon University, where she has spent the past two years working on their Masters Degree.
Outside of the studio, Anisha is an avid fitness enthusiast who enjoys weight training, hiking, and exploring new sports. A self-described world traveler, she has visited destinations across the UK, Europe, Thailand, and even skydived in Mauritius. In Pittsburgh, she finds joy in simple urban moments—wandering farmers markets, people-watching, and catching sunsets from the city’s many bridges.
