Elda Silva
LEED AP
Elda works with design/build project teams to document, certify and accompany stakeholders in the process of attaining high performance buildings and sustainable sites. Her diverse experience in community development and conservation in the Amazon region, landscape design work experience in Southern California as well as various green building project certifications in Latin America amount to 25 years of different scale experience of the built environment. As a project manager at evolveEA, she is providing certification management services for Carnegie Mellon and Pennsylvania State Universities. Elda previously led the LEED certification for the New National Bank of Peru Headquarters fast-track project. She has been an instructor at Pontifical Catholic University of Peru in the Civil Engineering School for several years, and has served as review committee member for Latin American Green Awards.
As a recent graduate from Virginia Tech, Elda became part of a bi-national team under Conservation International, which was assigned to delimit the area for a Peace Park based on a sustainable development study on the north-eastern side of the Amazon rainforest ⏤this proposal was approved by the two countries and today they are part of the protected areas system under each national administration. She is an active APA member and volunteers with social service groups. Elda Silva is a LEED Accredited Professional, SITES AP, Fitwel Ambassador, and Edge Expert & Auditor.
