evolve environment :: architecture is seeking a summer intern who can join our multidisciplinary team to support our Architecture and Landscape Architecture Studio (ALA) and Planning Studio (PLAN).

U.S. Steel Tower WELL Health-Safety Rating

The US Steel Tower is managed by Winthrop Management, who has been working with evolveEA since 2013 to incrementally retrofit systems and improve operations. The US Steel Tower achieved LEED V4 Silver Certification under the Operations + Maintenance (O+M): Existing Buildings rating system in 2019. One of the most unique aspects of this effort has been the Tenant Sustainability Committee created by Winthrop with help from evolveEA, which meets quarterly to collaborate on green initiatives for the whole building, with tenants and management leveraging each other's efforts.

Allegheny County Courthouse Facilities Plan

As the sustainability consultant, evolveEA led an Operations and Maintenance Review of the Allegheny County Courthouse that consisted of a series of interview and data analyses. The final facilities plan restores the Courthouse as a landmark building and meets contemporary standards for comfort, performance, and sustainability.

Yale University

Yale is committed to a sustainable future and has adopted requirements for all new buildings and renovation projects to achieve LEED Certification. The University's science and medicine institutes and centers have pioneered green building with many projects, including the first lab in the world to achieve LEED standards.

Bridger View Redevelopment Plan

evolveEA led the design process for Bozeman's Bridger View site redevelopment to create workforce housing that can become an example for future projects in the region. We envision a diverse community where people of various income levels, stages of life, and backgrounds can afford to purchase a home. The 63 homes are clustered around common areas, resulting in moderate densities with spaces for community life.

Energy Innovation Center

The Energy Innovation Center (EIC) is designed to provide a site for environmentally-conscious organizations to collaborate and a physical center for the region’s green economy. The EIC encourages product and business development, as well as structured education and training programs focused on sustainable technologies and systems.
