Breen Masciotra AICP Joins evolveEA

We are happy to welcome Breen Masciotra, AICP to our team of multidisciplinary strategists and designers. Breen’s professional experience as a community and transportation planner spans nearly two decades, and our office has a history of collaborating with Breen on transit facilities design and infrastructure planning. Her work has centered on social equity and cultivated partnerships to advance the improvement of cities and neighborhoods. Breen previously managed projects at WSP, such as transit-oriented development planning and bus rapid transit grant writing and design.

As a long-time collaborator with evolve, I’m excited to bring my experience to this amazing mission-driven firm so that we can collectively increase our positive impact on communities near and far,
said Breen.

 

In her role as Senior Project Manager, she will work closely with clients and partners to advance quality of life and environmental sustainability across a broad diversity of planning, design, and consulting projects.

Breen’s educational background includes a graduate degree in Public Administration – Urban & Regional Analysis and Environmental Management & Policy from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as an undergraduate degree in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. She is accredited by the American Institute of Certified Planners and the EcoDistricts AP program. Passionate about urban mobility, she is a longtime member of the National Steering Committee for MPACT (formerly Rail~Volution), which acts a catalyst for the movement to build more livable communities via better transit and land use decisions. Currently Breen is helping the steering committee plan the 2023 Mpact Transit + Community Conference, which will take place on November 2-8 in Phoenix, AZ.
