Tanvi Desai

Tanvi believes that investing in climate resilient design community engagement is a vital course of action for the built environment and businesses in general. As a sustainability professional, she dedicates her career to promoting environmentally responsible practices in design and construction. Tanvi advocates for sustainable workplaces because they enhance the overall quality of life for employees and the surrounding community while encouraging collaboration and innovation. As a Building Performance Project Manager at evolveEA, she guides LEED certification of projects for medical facilities, universities, and commercial offices. Tanvi has experience leading green building certification projects in India where she facilitated LEED charrettes with different project stakeholders, and conducted feasibility studies for rating systems such as LEED and WELL. With that she brings expertise in rainwater harvesting, daylighting, fresh air intake, and renewable energy capacities for LEED projects. Her project experience has also included commercial and residential campus planning, interior space planning, and façade design.
Tanvi earned a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey, and she holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Architecture from Pune University in India. Tanvi’s Bachelor of Architecture degree is from Mumbai University.
