Marc Mondor Elevated to Fellow of the American Institute of Architects

Join us in congratulating evolveEA Principal and CoFounder Marc Mondor, FAIA, LEED Fellow for his recent elevation to the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows. Marc is one of 66 recipients to be elevated, one of only six from the “Led the Institute,” Object and one of three from PennsylvaniaThe fellowship program was developed to recognize architects who have achieved a standard of excellence in the profession and made significant contributions to the profession and society on a national level. Fellows are selected by a 9-member jury.

Marc is recognized for his sustained leadership on advancing collaboration across the building industry and the architectural profession through his firm’s work and his extensive volunteer work. Through his service with professional organizations and cross-sector initiatives, he has strengthened connections among practitioners, policymakers, and allied disciplines—aligning design, performance, and sustainability goals at regional, state, and national levels.  He is responsible for teaching thousands of people, the passing of meaningful legislation, successful AIA national resolutions, over one hundred building certifications, and contributing to three state climate action plans.

As President of AIA Pennsylvania in 2020, Marc established the thriving COTE (Committee On the Environment) and EDI (Equity, Diversity & Inclusion) committees. He currently represents Pennsylvania on the AIA Strategic Council, chairs the Communications Committee, and serves on the  Pennsylvania Climate Change Advisory Committee demonstrating sustained, cooperative leadership with measurable impact on both the Institute and the broader profession.
