Allegheny County is launching the final phase of public engagement for its first-ever Climate Action Plan, and residents are invited to help shape the future of sustainability across our communities.  The CAP will help guide Allegheny County’s long-term strategies to reduce flooding and landslides, address rising energy prices, improve public health, support economic vitality and workforce development, strengthen infrastructure, and build a more resilient and sustainable future for all residents.
Join evolveEA, and the Allegheny County Department of Sustainability for a free, family-friendly community open house at the Department of Human Services Building in Downtown Pittsburgh. Remarks will begin at 6:00 pm, and a light dinner will be provided. Â Residents can register for the event here.
