Two evolveEA Projects Receive AIA Pittsburgh Design Awards

September 25, 2020

At the 2020 Design Pittsburgh Awards, evolveEA received recognition from AIA Pittsburgh for two of our recent projects.

Etna EcoDistrict Plan

The Etna EcoDistrict plan received an Honor Award. Legendary for being the first certified EcoDistrict in the world, the community came together to identify ambitious goals in six quality of life areas to elevate in neighborhood planning.

The Etna EcoDistrict Plan demonstrates how architecture can increase community resiliency and how the AIA Criteria for Design Excellence can be woven into urban design and planning. We are proud of our collaboration with local partners who helped create a blueprint for comprehensive sustainability by considering people and processes as well as place.
