Last week, we joined energy thought leaders at Carnegie Mellon University to discuss and collaborate on energy research, trends, innovative technologies, and opportunities as part of CMU’s annual Energy Week. Highlights included a Mayor’s forum with Pittsburgh’s Mayor, Bill Peduto, and the Mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Carmen Yulín Cruz, who discussed current challenges and opportunities in urban infrastructure and energy. We also hosted a talk with the CEO of Philips Lighting, Chris White, and were part of a celebration for the Sherman and Joyce Bowie Scott Hall’s LEED Gold Certification. Energy Week presented a chance for us to appreciate our ongoing relationship with Carnegie Mellon, which has included managing the LEED certifications of eight buildings, with more in process!
