Debbie is passionate about optimizing built environments to be the most comfortable and efficient as they can be. Her diverse professional background in architecture amounts to thirty years of experience with design and green building project management for buildings such as university residences, health and wellness centers, schools, airports, and offices. As a sustainability consultant and project manager at evolveEA, Debbie guides project teams through conceiving and achieving sustainability goals while documenting the process for LEED certifications and similar rating systems. She has excelled in managing specialized project types, such as science labs at Yale University, coordinating professional teams for large institutional clients like the University of Pittsburgh, and consulting for nonprofit organizations like the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Debbie also reviews educational content for the US Green Building Council and has served as a Greenbuild Education Reviewer.

Debbie received her Bachelor of Architecture degree at University of Notre Dame, and she has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2002 and Registered Architect since 1991. She is also an AIA member, WELL Accredited Professional, Fitwell Ambasador and Guiding Principles Compliance Professional.
